Dr Ioanna Mylonaki receives a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship

We are delighted that Dr. Ioanna Mylonaki has been awarded a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship.

Ioanna's research will focus on developing a novel delivery system for gene therapies. She will set up her team at the London-based biotech company, Sixfold Bioscience, while retaining links with Imperial College London as an Honorary Research Fellow.

She says, ‘working at the interface of academic research and industry is key for UK’s innovation and through this fellowship we will make sure that this translates into benefit for the UK citizens.’
